You'll hit upon a beautiful lake called West Twin Lake near East Twin Lake; some of the water close by flows, like Spider Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Day Lake Campground is a glorious local campground,       and there's delightful hiking along the Great Divide Snowmobile Trail. While you're here at East Twin Lake, you could also go to delightful Woodtick Lake, and if you need a spot to stay Ashland Super 8 Motel is a glorious choice. This lake is one of the great places here in the Gogebic Range. Now, you may imagine that's lots but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here in the Gogebic Range. East Twin Lake is a great location to visit for more than one                  day, Black Lake Campground is a great location to camp nearby, and the North Country Trail offers hiking at its best. Through the warm months highs here at East Twin Lake reach the 80's while night lows are frequently in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at East Twin Lake temperatures sink to the 0's. Hiking is a popular thing to do around East Twin Lake; Black Lake Trail is a good local trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Brunsweiler River.
