Not far from East Lake, you'll locate Niene Lake which is a lovely lake; camping is available at Eastwood Campground. East Lake really is in the middle of a lovely outdoors paradise. Super 8 Motel - Phillips is a splendid spot to get some rest; why not camp at North Twin Lake Campground while you're here at East Lake. Lakes? Sure, Kettle Lake is close at hand; get your heart pumping on the good whitewater of Black Creek.

If you need a location to stay Americinn - Medford, Wi is a brilliant choice, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Big Rib River. Summer brings highs in the 70's to East Lake. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are regularly in the 10's with temperatures at East Lake dipping down into the-10's through winter nights.
