If you like skiing, you're in luck; Norway Mountain is near East Lake. Here at East Lake there are plenty of folks from Iron Mountain. There's so much to do here at East Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Rivers Bend Campground is a perfect location for that. Badwater Creek is close to East Lake and is always a pleasure to go to, and in the neighborhood of East Lake you stumble on a golf course called       Eagle Mountain Golf Course. East Lake gets a normal amount of precipitation; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain; the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. East Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Iron Mountain Campgrounds is a great local campground; whitewater paddling is nice on Brule River. If you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites IRON MOUNTAIN is a delightful choice, and                  East Lake is not the only site nearby, Dyer Lake is a nearby lake. Summer at East Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's while East Lake nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the-10's. What a site this is for outdoors people.
