This lake is so wonderful. Hummingbird Haven is a great place to get some rest, and great hiking is available along the Virgin Pine Trail. That right there is heaps already, but it continues; East Eightmile Lake has it all. During the warm months, highs generally are in the 80's at East Eightmile Lake, and the night is rather chillier of course, mostly in the 50's. All through       the wintertime this place gets highs in the 10's; winter nights come with lows in the-10's to East Eightmile Lake. If you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Bois Brule River; if you're here, you could also check out wonderful West Eightmile Lake. Why not camp at Birch Grove Campground since you're here at East Eightmile Lake, and camping at East Eightmile Lake is wonderful fun, Tri Lakes Timbers Campground                  is a wonderful local campground. East Eightmile Lake gets a typical amount of precipitation; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
