At Bischel Dam in close proximity to Dutchman Lake there are some exciting things to see; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by Spring Lake. This lake is so wonderful. The yearly precipitation here at Dutchman Lake is about average; during September       this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Highlands of Olympia since you're here; dry warm beds await you at Hilton Garden Inn Oconomowoc. This is no location for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. A round of golf at nearby Kettle Moraine Golf Club is a delightful way to kill some time; after a long day outdoors Staybridge Suites MILWAUKEE WEST-OCONOMOWOC is a glorious                  location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. This is a great vicinity for people who like lakes. Henrietta Lake is a lake close at hand, and skiing at Alpine Valley is one of those things you just must do. There are some perfect whitewater spots on Pewaukee River, and Dutchman Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Pine woods Campground is a magnificent local campground. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Dutchman Lake; the night is rather colder of course, frequently in the 60's.
