You can never get enough of the good skiing at Highlands of Olympia, and you don’t have to go far from Dutchman Lake to see the water at Bischel Dam. Dutchman Lake gets a normal amount of rainfall; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. Really nice skiing awaits you at Alpine Valley, and since you're       here and you like golf, you can stop at Kettle Moraine Golf Club. Float down the rapids of White River in a kayak. A magnificent nearby hotel is THE DELAFIELD HOTEL, obviously you could also explore Bowron Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. If you need a place to stay Hilton Garden Inn Oconomowoc is a glorious choice, and Dutchman Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Ottawa Lake - South Kettle Moraine is a great local campground.                  At Dutchman Lake during the summertime months highs are in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Dutchman Lake sink into the 0's. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Dutchman Lake.
