Through the summer months, highs mostly are in the 70's at Dumbell Lake. For the period of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 10's while Dumbell Lake nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the-10's. This lake is located in the wonderful Gogebic Range. In case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Planter       Creek, and Comfort Inn Ironwood is a glorious site to get some rest. Do stop at McFadyen Dam since you're here at Dumbell Lake, and Big 6 RV Resort and Campground is a good campground nearby. Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! Dumbell Lake is peerless! There are other places here than Dumbell Lake, for example Etna Lake; if you came for an overnight stay Henry Lake Campground is a great site to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such                  serene locations, why not visit Beatrice Lake near Dumbell Lake, and a day on the slopes of Indianhead is just what you need. All year is a great time in the Gogebic Range if you love the outdoors.
