Beautiful Dumbell Lake has much to offer visitors. And if that's not enough there's heaps more amusing stuff to do in the Gogebic Range. Going for a hike on the Rainbow Falls Trail is always a nice adventure. Just can't get enough of the Gogebic Range. If you need a spot to stay Bluffs Inn is a great choice, and Planter Creek is a good whitewater spot nearby. Dumbell Lake gets a typical amount of yearly rain; the wettest month of the year is generally June,

Dumbell Lake is one of the lakes here in the Gogebic Range. So many exciting things to do here at Dumbell Lake, too nice to be true. Indianhead is a tremendous local ski area, and if you get bored of Dumbell Lake you could also take a look at close by Chaney Lake. This lake is so wonderful. All through the long summer days at Dumbell Lake highs are usually in the 70's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. The cold days of the
winter come with highs in the 10's with temperatures at Dumbell Lake dipping down into the-10's during winter nights. Dry warm beds await you at Indianhead Motel; Dumbell Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Henry Lake
Campground is a nice local campground. A perfect place for whitewater paddling near Dumbell Lake is Black River, and everyone nearby loves skiing at Big Powderhorn Mountain.
