It's a delightful idea to stop by Emily Creek, it's near Duck Lake, and perfect hiking is available along the Newman Springs Ski Trail. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Duck Lake. Best Western Concord Inn is a good spot to get some rest. There's       so much to do here at Duck Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Emily Lake Campground is a tremendous site for that. A good place for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of Duck Lake is Flambeau River - South Fork, and if you need a place to stay Americinn - Minocqua, Wi is a great choice. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit close by Apeekwa Lake, and Duck Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Wabasso                  Lake Campground is a magnificent local campground.
