Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by Shine Lake, and camping is available at Lake Three - Chequamegon National Forest. The Gogebic Range scenery is always beautiful. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Duck Lake, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in       the 10's; night lows throughout the wintertime for Duck Lake tend to be in the-10's. A common amount of rain falls here at Duck Lake; the month with most of the rain is August, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Near Duck Lake you find the Newman Springs Ski Trail which is a fine hiking trail. Lakes? Sure, Pleasant Lake is in the vicinity. You completely should love the Gogebic Range. Gotta ski! Whitecap Mountain is a splendid location to do that;                  a tremendous spot for whitewater paddling is Flambeau River - North Fork. Potato River is a delightful whitewater spot next to Duck Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Park Falls. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Days Inn Hurley is a good choice, and if you came for an overnight stay Mineral Lake - Chequamegon National Forest is a great place to camp.
