High temperatures at Duck Lake during the long summer days are in the 70's with night lows in the 50's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Duck Lake. Americinn - Iron River, Mi is a good site to get some rest; whitewater paddling is good on Pine River. Duck Lake is a great spot to camp, Florence County Park Campground is       a great spot. All the outdoors cool things in the neighborhood of Duck Lake will keep you coming back persistently. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Brule Mountain if you're here; there is a nice hiking trail nearby called the Lauterman Trail. Why not take a look at close by Meadowbrook Creek since you're here at Duck Lake; you can stay the night at Stevens Lake Campground. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Iron                  Inn Motel is a good choice, and skiing at Ski Brule is one of those things you just have to do. Get wet paddling on Brule River; going for a hike on the Dendro Eco Trail is always a fine adventure.
