There's great hiking along the Black Lake Trail, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Marengo River. Super 8 Ashland is a pleasant spot to get some rest, and lakes are such peaceful locations, why not check out Day Lake. Duck Lake gets a normal amount of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is typically       September, that's the one that rains the most; the driest of the months is February. Duck Lake is a beautiful lake in the Gogebic Range. These mountains rock, just explore all the fun things to do in the Gogebic Range. Whitewater paddling is tremendous on Brunsweiler River, and camping at Chippewa River Campground is always a good experience. So many enjoyable things to do here at Duck Lake, too great to be true. Day Dam is lovely and it's near Duck Lake,                  and Duck Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Day Lake Campground is a delightful local campground. Good hiking is available along the Great Divide Snowmobile Trail, and there are other sites here than Duck Lake, for example White Bass Lake. Throughout the months of summer highs here at Duck Lake get into the 70's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 10's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Duck Lake dip into the-10's. This lake is so wonderful.
