Duck Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. This lake is one of the great places here in the Gogebic Range. Throughout the warmest time of the year at Duck Lake highs are frequently in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 10's while Duck Lake overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay North Haven

| | Country Cottage is a delightful choice; if you come at the right time of year, Marengo River offers some brilliant whitewater.
So much fun stuff in the Gogebic Range, just fantastic. Take a hike on the North Country Trail. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Black Lake Trail, and Day Lake Campground is a magnificent campground here. Stay the night at Chippewa River Campground, and since you're here, you could also take a look at pretty Day Lake.

Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing things in the Gogebic Range. Dry warm beds await you at Junek's Bay Cabins; the Great Divide Snowmobile Trail offers hiking at its best. If only every spot had this much outdoors amusing things,
what a great planet it would be. Why not stop by Day Dam if you're here, and there are some delightful whitewater spots on Brunsweiler River. From a rainfall point of view Duck Lake is a pretty common site; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is February.
