Dry Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Butternut Lake Campground is a wonderful local campground; after a long day outdoors Park Falls Super 8 Motel is a wonderful place to spend a night or two. So much cool stuff to do here in the Gogebic Range, too perfect to be true. Summit Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by, and if you come at the right time of year, Bad River offers       some perfect whitewater. A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Dry Lake; August is when you get the most rain here, and February is the month with the least moisture. All through the summertime months highs here at Dry Lake reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Dry Lake dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. Man, is there a heap of fun things                  to do in the Gogebic Range. On a tremendous day at Dry Lake you can take a hike along the Great Divide Snowmobile Trail; there are some fine whitewater spots on Tyler Forks. This lake is so wonderful. Getting to Minnie Creek from Dry Lake is uncomplicated, and if you came to camp Wildwood Haven Resort and Campground is a glorious place to do that. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing things in the vicinity of Dry Lake. Do go to Knab Lake next to Dry Lake, it's a delightful lake, and skiing at Whitecap Mountain is one of those things you just have to do.
