Good hiking is available along the Lauterman Trail; drift down the rapids of Brule River in a kayak. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Brule Mountain is in the vicinity of Lake of Dreams; there's great hiking along the Dendro Eco Trail. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! Lake of Dreams is great! If you need a place to stay Americinn - Iron River, Mi is a good choice; a picturesque lake like Reisner Lake is a brilliant       place to have a look at. Lake of Dreams is a good place of typical rainfall; August is the month that gets the most rain; February is the month with the least moisture. There's some flowing water nearby, Johnson Creek is a stream you can stop at while you're here, and Chipmunk Rapids Campground is a good campground nearby. At Lake of Dreams during the days of summer highs are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. The cold days of the                  winter come with highs in the 20's; overnight lows during the wintertime for Lake of Dreams tend to be in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at Ski Brule is pleasant, and paddling on Pine River is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant close by hotel is Best Western Crandon Inn & Suites.
