Everybody close by loves skiing at Indianhead. The warmest time of the year at Doud Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's with night lows in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 10's with temperatures at Doud Lake dipping down into the-10's during winter nights. You don’t have to go far       from Doud Lake to make out the water at Flambeau Lake Dam; after a long day outdoors Best Western Concord Inn is a magnificent location to spend a night or two. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a splendid time here at Doud Lake. If you come at the right time of year, Flambeau River - South Fork offers some nice whitewater; camping at Broken Bow Campgrounds is always a good experience. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Turtle                  River; Americinn - Minocqua, Wi is a great location to get some rest. There are other places here than Doud Lake, for example Fat Lake; Doud Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Lac Du Flambeau Tribal Council is a splendid local campground.
