Haley Creek is a great place to have a look at; hiking is a popular thing to do around Dorothy Lake; Dendro Eco Trail is a pleasant local trail. Dorothy Lake gets a normal amount of annual rainfall; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. A picturesque lake like Haley Lake in close proximity to Dorothy Lake is a magnificent       spot to go to; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Pine River. Dorothy Lake is a great place to camp, Perch Lake Campground is a great place; if you need a place to stay Iron Inn Motel is a pleasant choice. Yep, outdoors entertaining stuff to do are in fact abundant here at Dorothy Lake. Brule Mountain is a glorious local ski area. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Dorothy Lake has to offer, you                  can camp at Lauterman Lake Walk-In Campground. The skiing at Ski Brule is perfect, and there's great hiking along the Lauterman Trail. For the duration of the months of summer here at Dorothy Lake, high temperatures usually reach the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 10's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Dorothy Lake fall into the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. At Dorothy Lake you always meet someone from Iron Mountain.
