This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Brunet Island State Park is a magnificent site to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Duncan Creek, and you can go for a hike on the Hay Meadow Trail. Here at Dorothy Lake there are plenty of folks from Eau Claire, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Christie Mountain is quite near. At Dorothy Lake through the summertime months highs
are in the 80's, and the overnight is quite chillier of course, regularly in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Dorothy Lake. Foster Creek is a wonderful local stream; float down the rapids of Chippewa River in a kayak.
