Summertime       highs at Dorothy Lake frequently tend to be in the 80's. Summer night lows drop down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Dorothy Lake. Going for a hike on the Hay Meadow Trail is always a perfect adventure; you can stay the night at Brunet Island State Park.
