A glorious site for whitewater paddling next to Dollar Lake is Turtle River, and Tahoe Lynx Golf Course is a good golf course close by. Dollar Lake is a good location of typical rain; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is February. So many cool things to do at Dollar Lake, so little time. There's always Lake of the Falls Dam to check out right       next door to Dollar Lake, and hiking along the Newman Springs Ski Trail is magnificent fun. If you get bored of Dollar Lake, you could also stop by close by Davis Lake; Americinn - Ironwood, Mi is a nice location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Flambeau River - South Fork is a brilliant whitewater spot close to Dollar Lake. Everybody close by loves skiing at Whitecap Mountain, and needless to say Dollar Creek flows through this vicinity. The                  warmest time of the year at Dollar Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's while night lows are usually in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 10's, and nighttime lows in the-10's for Dollar Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Ironwood; Fishtrap Campground is a great campground here. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Big 6 RV Resort and Campground is a good spot to camp, and hey, Gotta ski right?
