There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Big Powderhorn Mountain, also Lake of the Falls Dam is worth taking a look at since you're here. Dollar Lake truly is in the middle of a stunning outdoors paradise. Going for a hike on the Newman Springs Ski Trail       is always a nice adventure; why not stop at nearby Dollar Creek while you're here at Dollar Lake. Weber Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore. There's so much to do here at Dollar Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Big 6 RV Resort and Campground is a delightful location for that. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Turtle River, and for you golfers we recommend close by Tahoe Lynx Golf Course. For                  the duration of the summer months, highs usually are in the 70's at Dollar Lake, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 10's while Dollar Lake night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful.
