If you need a spot to stay Rustic Manor Motor Lodge is a good choice; Dog Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Lynn Ann's Campground is a great local campground. Dry warm beds await you at Black Bear Lodge, and if you've had enough of Dog Lake, Gilmore Lake is close by. The amount of precipitation that falls at Dog Lake is close to the national average; of all the months in a year August is       the one with the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Just can't get enough of Dog Lake. Enjoy a round of golf at St Germain Golf Club not far from Dog Lake. There's so much to do here at Dog Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Journey's End is a pleasant spot for that, and you can have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Bearskin State Park Trail. If you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater                  paddling on Wisconsin River, and of course Border Creek flows through this vicinity. At Dog Lake during the days of summer highs are in the 70's, and the overnight is a tad chillier of course, regularly in the 50's.
