Whitecap Mountain has good slopes and a friendly staff, and Butternut Lake Campground is a perfect local campground. Lakes are such serene places, why not stop by Dry Lake next to Ditmans Lake, and going for a hike on the Great Divide Snowmobile Trail is always a tremendous adventure. A typical amount of rain falls here at Ditmans Lake; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the       driest of the months is February. Through the warm months at Ditmans Lake highs are typically in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 50's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Ditmans Lake temperatures fall to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Tyler Forks next to Ditmans Lake; why not camp at Wildwood Haven Resort and Campground while you're                  here at Ditmans Lake. Yep, outdoors exciting things truly is bountiful here in the Gogebic Range. If you need a place to stay Park Falls Super 8 Motel is a delightful choice; why not a little side trip to Mineral Creek.
