All through the summertime at Dickey Lake temperatures are generally in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Dickey Lake. Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! Dickey Lake rocks! If you came to camp Kamp Sugarrbush Bar and Campgrnd is a fine location to do that. Lakes? Sure, Atwood Lake is close       by. This lake is so wonderful. The slopes of Christie Mountain are so inviting nobody can resist, and there are some perfect whitewater spots on Chippewa River. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Chetek is a great site to spend a night or two; if you come at the right time of year, Duncan Creek offers some great whitewater. Dickey Lake is right by the Hickory Ridge Trail, and if you need a spot to stay Paradise Shores Resort Hotel is a splendid                  choice. The O'Neil Creek Flowage Trail offers hiking at its best, and folks from Eau Claire love to come here. This lake is so wonderful. From a rainfall point of view Dickey Lake is a relatively typical site; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. Take a hike on the Hardwood Trail. There's so much to do here at Dickey Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Loon Lake Camp Grounds is a great place for that.   Super 8 Motel - Chetek, Chetek 11 miles away Beautiful Pride of Super 8 facility on a hillside overlooking the Chetek River.
