so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Diamond Lake; Markville Snowmobile Trail is a great local trail, and if you need a place to stay Best Western Northwoods Lodge is a great choice. This is no place for people
who don’t like to have fun. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Lower Tamarack River, and a wonderful nearby hotel is Luck Country Inn. A lake close by is Little Dunham Lake, and there's good hiking along the Minnesota-Wisconsin Boundary
State Trail. Diamond Lake is a good site of normal rainfall; June is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is February.
