A brilliant nearby hotel is Best Western Concord Inn, and camping at Diamond Lake is great fun, Broken Bow Campgrounds is a great local campground. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Diamond Lake; the night is quite chillier of course, generally in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are commonly in the 10's with temperatures at Diamond Lake dipping down into the-10's during winter nights. Diamond Lake is a       good spot to camp, Tee Pee Campground is a good spot, and a brilliant site for whitewater paddling is Flambeau River - South Fork. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Americinn - Minocqua, Wi is a great choice, and hiking along the Bearskin State Park Trail is good fun. Booth Lake is a magnificent lake near Diamond Lake, and a quick trip to Yukon Creek is beyond doubt a wonderful idea. Diamond Lake gets a typical amount of annual rain; August                  is the wettest month with most rain while February is typically the driest month.
