This lake is so wonderful. There is a great hiking trail near Diamond Lake called the Rock Lake National Recreation Trail; get your heart beating on the good whitewater of Chippewa River - West Fork. You can take a little visit to Namekgon WP320 Dam if you're here at Diamond Lake; dry warm beds await you at Junek's Bay Cabins. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. An afternoon       playing golf at Lakewoods Resort & Golf Forest Ridges Golf Course is always a delight; if you need a place to stay North Haven Country Cottage is a magnificent choice. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Marengo River for all you adrenaline rush seekers. At Diamond Lake during the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 10's, and after the                  sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Diamond Lake plunge into the-10's. You could also stop at Coburn Lake since you're here at Diamond Lake; it's close by; Lake Namakagon Campgrounds is a good campground here. A typical amount of precipitation falls here at Diamond Lake; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest of the months is February. The North Country Trail is a fine hiking trail near Diamond Lake; you can stay the night at Two Lakes Campground.
