You can take a little journey to Namekgon WP320 Dam while you're here at Diamond Lake; if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the North Country Trail. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Diamond Lake you can play some golf at Lakewoods Resort & Golf Forest Ridges Golf Course, and the Virgin Pine Trail is a delightful hiking trail close by. There are some splendid whitewater spots on Chippewa River - West Fork, and on a tremendous day you can take a hike along the Rock Lake National Recreation Trail. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Marengo River; of course Porcupine Creek is a stunning stream that is worth taking a look at. | |

If you came for an overnight stay Lake Namakagon Campgrounds is a good site to camp, obviously you could also check out Crystal Lake if you're here; it's not far at all.
