Dewey Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Hiking along the Kentuck-Spectacle Lake Trail is splendid fun, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Ontonagon River - Middle Branch. Dewey Lake is not the only place close by, Imogene Lake is a close by lake, and Wild Eagle Lodge is a magnificent place to get some rest. long summer days are in the 70's, and the night is a bit chillier of course, typically in the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 10's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Dewey Lake.
Now,
you may think that's plenty but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Dewey Lake. For you golfers we recommend nearby Big Sand Lake Golf Course, and if the weather is wonderful, you can go for a hike along the Kimball Creek Trail. Brule Mountain is a good local ski area.
