Lakes are good; Ashegon Lake is a lake that's in close proximity to Devils Lake, and if you came for an overnight stay Hayward Koa Kampground is a tremendous place to camp. For the duration of the months of summer highs here at Devils Lake reach the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. | | be in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Christie Mountain has nice slopes and a friendly staff; after a long day outdoors Comfort Suites Hayward is a good spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Devils Lake; Hardwood Trail is a glorious local trail; if you need a location to stay Flat Creek Inn and Suites is a nice choice. along the Serley Camp Trail; get your heart pumping on the splendid whitewater of Chippewa River - West Fork. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore nearby Pike Lake, and Trail's End Resort is a pleasant
campground nearby. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Tuscobia Park Falls State Trail; there's whitewater on Chippewa River for all you adrenaline rush seekers. Devils Lake is a good site of normal rainfall; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest.

Tuscobia Park Falls State Trail
 | 18 miles away 1 PHOTO The trail is called the Tuscobia State Trail. It runs 74 miles from Rice Lake to Park Falls, Wisconsin. The Trail crosses through Barron, Sawyer and Price Counties. This is a multi-use trail on the old railroad grade of the Omaha Railroad. There are lots of things to do and places to stop along the trail. There is now camping available at several points along the trail including Radisson, and Ojibwa. At Winter, the last remaining railroad depot, built in 1905, will be historically restored outside and inside, it will house a visitor center, there will be trailhead parking, historical displays, and picnic areas.
