This is a great area for folks who like lakes. 583 Reservoir is a lake in the neighborhood, and no need to travel far to check out exciting stuff like East Bluff. Summertime highs at Devils Lake mostly tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. High temperatures through the winter       are normally in the 20's with temperatures at Devils Lake dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Skillet Creek; there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Christmas Mountain. Yep, outdoors entertaining stuff to do are truly bountiful here at Devils Lake. A magnificent close by hotel is Americas Best Value/Campus Inn, and Steinke Basin is a nice place here                  at Devils Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Near Devils Lake you hit upon the West Bluff Trail which is a perfect hiking trail, and if you need a spot to stay Clarion Hotel and Convention Center is a delightful choice. Koshawago Spring is always fun to check out, and camping is available at Nordic Pines Resort. Really delightful skiing awaits you at Devils Head, and since you're here you will meet lots of people from close by Baraboo. You truly ought to fancy Devils Lake. An afternoon playing golf at Baraboo Country Club is always a pleasure, and going for a hike on the Bluff Trail is always a great adventure. The annual rain here at Devils Lake is about average; most of the rain falls all through August, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful.
