Steinke Basin is a perfect place to stretch your legs a bit, and dry warm beds await you at Clarion Hotel Baraboo. This lake is so wonderful. 583 Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could go to, and why not take a refreshing hike along the East Bluff Trail. Summertime highs at Devils Lake regularly tend to be in the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's,       and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Devils Lake. This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at Devils Head is great, and golf can be played at Baraboo Country Club. You completely must adore Devils Lake. Good hiking is available along the West Bluff Trail; Devils Lake is a wonderful spot to visit for more than one day, Devil's Lake State Park is a wonderful spot to camp nearby. The yearly precipitation here at Devils Lake is about average; of all the months                  in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. While you're here at Devils Lake, you could also explore striking Johnson Ponds, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Devils Lake; Bluff Trail is a glorious local trail. Interesting geology is available here; East Bluff is in the vicinity of Devils Lake; you can stay the night at Nordic Pines Resort. Christmas Mountain is a good local ski area; paddling on Skillet Creek is so much fun. Koshawago Spring is an inspiring location to stop by during your stay, and whitewater paddling is delightful on Baraboo River. Yep, outdoors exciting stuff to do are really abundant here at Devils Lake.
