A splendid close by hotel is Eagle River Days Inn, and Denton Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Running's Campground and Bar is a great local campground. The yearly precipitation here at Denton Lake is about average; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Denton Lake in fact is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise.       This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Wisconsin River is so much fun; if you need a spot to stay Super 8 Motel - Eagle River is a fine choice. This is a fine vicinity for people who like lakes. Aldridge Lake is a lake in close proximity, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Anvil Lake Trail System. Throughout the warm months at Denton Lake highs are frequently in the 70's with night lows in the 50's. During the winter the highs are commonly in the 10's,                  and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Denton Lake temperatures plunge to the-10's.
