There's whitewater on Honey Creek for all you adrenaline people; you'll meet a lot of folks from Milwaukee-Waukesha-West Allis here. There's so much to do here at Lake Denoon that you need to camp here for a while, Sun Ray Hills is a nice spot for that; Lake Denoon is not the only place nearby, Long Lake is a nearby lake. There are some nice whitewater spots on Pewaukee River, and Rivermoor Country Club is a golf course       nearby. This lake is so wonderful. For the duration of the summer months at Lake Denoon temperatures are generally in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's. During the wintertime highs are generally in the 20's with temperatures at Lake Denoon dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. Wilmot mountain is a very popular ski area in the vicinity; Baymont Inn & Suites Milwaukee/Waterford is a magnificent place to get some rest. Lake                  Denoon gets a common amount of annual rainfall; August is when you get the most rain here; the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Country View Campground, naturally you could also take a look at Waubeesee Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a magnificent time here at Lake Denoon.
