There's whitewater on Turtle River for all you adrenaline kick people, and the skiing at Blackjack is good. Having a tremendous time at Deertail Lake is trouble-free. Dry warm beds await you at Indianhead Motel; since you're here and you like golf, you can go to Tahoe Lynx Golf Course. This place, the Gogebic Range, has so much outdoors entertaining stuff.       Wabasso Lake Campground is a brilliant campground here, and if you're interested in hydro structures, you can check out Shay Dam. Deertail Lake gets a common amount of annual rainfall; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is February. For the duration of the summer here at Deertail Lake, high temperatures mostly reach the 70's, and the night is a bit cooler of course, commonly in the 50's. Highs during the                  winter are usually in the 10's; nighttime lows at Deertail Lake during the wintertime mostly plunge into the-10's. There's some flowing water nearby, Evelyn Creek is a stream you can check out while you're here, and get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Black River. The Gogebic Range scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. Near Deertail Lake you come across the Newman Springs Ski Trail which is a fine hiking trail. American Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by, and camping at Deertail Lake is tremendous fun, Big 6 RV Resort and Campground is a tremendous local campground. If you adore the outdoors you'll adore it here in the Gogebic Range.
