Deer Lake D12.198 Dam is a delightful site close to Deer Lake Flowage. You just have to fancy Deer Lake Flowage. Whitewater paddling is wonderful on Rat River, and you can go for a hike on the Dendro Eco Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Deer Lake Flowage is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Mountain Jeds       Campgrounds is a wonderful local campground, and getting to Pemma Creek from Deer Lake Flowage is painless. Peshtigo River has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby, and if you get bored of Deer Lake Flowage you could also check out nearby Deer Lake Outlet Flowage. Good hiking is available along the Popple Ridge Snowmobile Trail, and a lake nearby is Deer Lake. At Deer Lake Flowage all through the summer highs are in the 70's while nighttime lows are typically                  in the 50's.
