Summertime at Deer Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 10's; nighttime lows in the-10's for Deer Lake. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors entertaining things the Gogebic Range has to offer. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Turtle River, obviously you could also take a look       at Tamarack Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. Deer Lake is a good place of typical precipitation; all through the month of June you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is February. Henry Lake Campground is a good campground nearby; let's not forget Rainbow Creek which is a stream that you may encounter during your stay. Having a great time in the Gogebic Range is trouble-free. A glorious close by hotel is Comfort Inn Minocqua.                  This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Presque Isle Campground, and everybody close by loves skiing at Big Powderhorn Mountain. The skiing at Indianhead is delightful, and if you've had enough of Deer Lake, North Turtle Lake is close by. And if that's not enough, there's plenty more to do near Deer Lake.
