Resort and Campground. From a rain point of view Deer Lake is a rather normal site; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is February. For the duration of the summertime, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Deer Lake while nighttime lows are regularly in the 50's. During the wintertime       highs are typically in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Deer Lake. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Christie Mountain is near Deer Lake, and do visit Star Lake, it's a beautiful lake. If you need a place to stay Comfort Suites Hayward is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. On a good day at Deer Lake you can take a hike along the Serley Camp Trail; if the weather is delightful, you get a wonderful vista of Meteor Hill                  from Deer Lake. Man, is there a lot of fun things to do in the neighborhood of Deer Lake. Camping is available at Windfall Lake Camping; dry warm beds await you at Northern Pine Inn.
