Lakes are such serene places, why not take a look at Deer Lake 10 near Deer Lake; Chippewa River has a delightful whitewater paddling spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. A great close by hotel is Northern Pine Inn, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Deer Lake; Hardwood Trail is a perfect local trail. Through the days of summer highs here at Deer Lake reach the 80's while overnight lows are regularly in       the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's; overnight lows in the-10's for Deer Lake. After a long day outdoors Comfort Suites Hayward is a splendid place to spend a night or two, and pleasant hiking is available along the Serley Camp Trail. Man, is there loads of enjoyable things to do close to Deer Lake. A magnificent place to camp here at Deer Lake is T.P. From a rain point of view Deer Lake is a quite normal place; most of the rain falls during September; February on the other hand is the driest.
