If you need a site to stay Wannigan Point is a glorious choice; Deer Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, James N Mcnally Campground is a brilliant local campground. There's so much to do here at Deer Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Wildwood Park Campgrounds is a nice site for that, and not far from Deer Lake you'll come across       Bass Lake which is a gorgeous lake. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of St. Croix River close to Deer Lake; a tour to Saint Croix National Scenic River is recommended. An average amount of rainfall falls at Deer Lake; most of the rain falls through June, and February on the other hand is the driest. Skiing at Trollhaugen is one of those things you just ought to do. A good place for whitewater paddling near Deer Lake is St. Croix River; you'll                  never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Wild Mountain if you're here. Deer Lake is right by the Sunrise Ferry Hiking Trail; a great close by hotel is Pines Motel. Throughout the long summer days highs here at Deer Lake get into the 80's while overnight lows are generally in the 50's.
