This lake is so wonderful. Don't miss out on a journey to Saint Croix National Scenic River since you're here at Deer Lake, and after a long day outdoors Luck Country Inn is a good place to spend a night or two. Hiking along the Sunrise Ferry Hiking Trail is magnificent fun, and Deer Lake is a good spot to visit for       more than one day, Wildwood Park Campgrounds is a good spot to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Deer Lake. This is a tremendous neighborhood for folks who like lakes. Simpson Lake is a lake around here, and you can stay the night at James N Mcnally Campground. Head up to Wild Mountain and strap some skis to your feet, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend                  St. Croix River. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby Bass Lake, and Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites ST. CROIX VALLEY is a delightful spot to get some rest. Deer Lake gets a normal amount of annual precipitation; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily June, that's the one that rains the most while February is mostly the driest month. During the warm months highs here at Deer Lake get into the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's.
