Deer Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. The Sunrise Ferry Hiking Trail offers hiking at its best, and Wild Mountain can be made out from Deer Lake. During the summertime months at Deer Lake highs are commonly in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Bog Lake is right next door to Deer Lake; there are some great whitewater spots on St. Croix River. The slopes of Trollhaugen are so inviting noone can resist, and after a long day outdoors Pines Motel is a brilliant location to spend a night or two.

Deer Lake and is always a pleasure to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. Wannigan Point is a wonderful site to get some rest; Wild Mountain is a good local ski area. A normal amount of rain falls here at Deer Lake; June is the month
that gets the most rain while February is commonly the driest month.
This place, Deer Lake, it simply has so much outdoors cool stuff. If you come at the right time of year, St. Croix River offers some tremendous whitewater; why not camp at Schillberg's Campgrounds since you're here at Deer Lake.
