| | Kahles Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Thunder River has a nice whitewater paddling spot close by, and camping is available at Curve Inn Resort. In case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Peshtigo River, and if you came for an overnight stay Rustic Road Inn is a perfect place to camp. An average amount of rainfall falls at Deer Lake; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest.
