Deer Lake is a nice lake to visit. A nice place for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of Deer Lake is Chippewa River, and do take a hike on the Hickory Ridge Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Duncan Creek is a perfect whitewater spot in close proximity to Deer Lake, and a good close by hotel is Glen Loch Motel. Deer Lake gets a common amount of annual rain; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest.

| | You could also stop by Barr Lake if you're here at Deer Lake; it's close by, and the snow is brilliant at Christie Mountain. What a location this is for outdoors people. Deer Lake is right by the Hay Meadow Trail; if you need a place to stay Paradise Shores Resort Hotel is a glorious choice. Lots of folks from Eau Claire come to Deer Lake; the Deer Fly Trail offers hiking at its best.

you're here at Deer Lake. Through the long summer days at Deer Lake temperatures are regularly in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. All through the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 20's, and overnight
lows during the winter for Deer Lake tend to be in the-10's. If you came for an overnight stay Rock Lake Resort and Campground is a glorious spot to camp, and if the weather is lovely, you obtain a nice vista of Baldy Mountain from Deer Lake.
