This is no spot for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Paddling on St. Croix River is so much fun. There's so much to do here at Deer Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Anchor Bay Camping and Cabins is a good place for that. A common amount of rain falls here at Deer Lake; August is the month that gets the most rain while       February is commonly the driest month. All through the warm months highs here at Deer Lake reach the 80's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 10's; winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Deer Lake. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Deer Lake has to offer, you can camp at Rosenthal's Resort, and an afternoon playing golf at Voyager Village Country Club & Bar is always a delight.                  This lake is so wonderful. Best Western Northwoods Lodge is a tremendous spot to get some rest, and a beautiful lake like Fawn Lake is a splendid place to stop by.
