If you come at the right time of year, Wolf River offers some splendid whitewater; dry warm beds await you at Twin Oaks Resort. At Deep Wood Lake through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 20's while Deep Wood Lake night low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the-10's. From a rain       point of view Deep Wood Lake is a reasonably typical location; the month with most of the rain is August while February is regularly the driest month. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Eau Claire River, and swamps like Bogus Swamp are fun to pop by. Nordic Hills Campground is a great campground here; if you need a location to stay Days Inn of Antigo is a fine choice. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Shady Brook Campground, and you'll locate a pretty lake called Alga Lake.
