Going for a hike on the Hardwood Trail is always a fine adventure. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Deep Lake, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Deep Lake. Deep Lake is a great place to camp, Dahle's Campground is a great place; Namekagon River       is a splendid whitewater spot close by. Deep Lake gets a common amount of precipitation; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; February is when it's the driest. Lakes? Sure, Beartrap Lake is in the neighborhood, and Northern Pine Inn is a fine site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Americinn - Hayward, Wi, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater                  paddling on Totogatic River.
