The annual rain here at Deadman Lake is about average; most of the rain falls during September; February is the month with the least moisture. If you come at the right time of year, Wolf River offers some pleasant whitewater. Lakes are fine; Chicken Crop Lake is a lake that's next to Deadman Lake. This lake is so       wonderful. Super 8 Shawano is a glorious place to get some rest, and don't leave Deadman Lake without first paying a visit to Hells Acre Springs. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Popple Ridge Snowmobile Trail, and camping at Williams' Campground is always a splendid experience. High temperatures at Deadman Lake all through the warm days of summer are in the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter                  are in the 20's, and night lows at Deadman Lake through the wintertime ordinarily drop into the 0's. If you want a fine time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Deadman Lake.
