This lake is so wonderful. Blue Mound State Park is a nice campground here, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Bluff Trail. You'll never forgive yourself
if you don’t go skiing at Tyrol Basin since you're here; Dunlap Creek is right next door to Deacon Thomas Lake and is always a pleasure to explore. Have a nice hiking adventure along the West Bluff Trail, and if you come at the right
time of year, Skillet Creek offers some tremendous whitewater.
Skiing at Devils Head is one of those things you just must do, and if you came for an overnight stay Cedar Hills Campground is a great place to camp. This lake is
so wonderful. Deacon Thomas Lake is not far at all from Baraboo; if the weather is splendid, you can go for a hike along the Grottos Trail.
