Day Lake is one of the lakes here in the Gogebic Range. Day Lake truly is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. If the weather is nice here at Day Lake, you can go for a hike along the Black Lake Trail; Ashland Super 8 Motel is a great place to get some rest. At Day Lake during the long summer days highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. For       the duration of the winter the highs are typically in the 20's, and overnight lows during the wintertime for Day Lake tend to be in the 0's. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Brunsweiler River; Day Lake is a good site to visit for more than one day, Chippewa River Campground is a good site to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Day Lake you can take a hike along                  the Great Divide Snowmobile Trail; Day Lake is not the only place close by, Upper Clam Lake is a close by lake. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool things the Gogebic Range has to offer. On a fine day at Day Lake you can take a hike along the Rock Lake National Recreation Trail, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Holiday House is a glorious site to spend a night or two. Day Lake Campground is a wonderful local campground, and there are some glorious whitewater spots on Marengo River. Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! The Gogebic Range rules! A lake nearby is Day Lake, and there's some exciting stuff to make out at Day Dam in close proximity to Day Lake.
