The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Day Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Day Lake is one of the lakes here in the Gogebic Range. This lake is so wonderful. There is a magnificent hiking trail near Day Lake called the Rock Lake National Recreation Trail; Chippewa       River Campground is a wonderful local campground. Lakes? Sure, Day Lake is in the vicinity, and on a splendid day you can take a hike along the Black Lake Trail. A fine close by hotel is Super 8 Ashland; if you came for an overnight stay Day Lake Campground is a great site to camp. An average amount of rain falls at Day Lake; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. Day Lake beyond doubt is                  in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. There are other places here than Day Lake, for example Upper Clam Lake, and Best Western Lake Superior Lodge is a fine place to get some rest. And that's not all you can do here in the Gogebic Range. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Marengo River, and there are some good whitewater spots on Brunsweiler River. So much amusing stuff in the Gogebic Range, just fantastic.
