Really good skiing awaits you at Brule Mountain, and going for a hike along the Popple Ridge Snowmobile Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore nearby Little Pine Lake, and camping is available at Joy Harbor Campground. Dawson Lake, and a short trip to Johnson Springs is always worthwhile. A fine site to camp here at Dawson Lake is Richardson Lake Campground; hiking along the Dendro Eco Trail is good fun.
This lake is so wonderful. If you want
to play some golf, you're in luck because Nicolet Country Club is in the vicinity; if you need a place to stay Best Western Crandon Inn & Suites is a glorious choice.
