Flambeau River - South Fork has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby; if you need a site to stay Park Falls Super 8 Motel is a glorious choice. A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Davis Lake; the wettest month of the year is mostly August, that's the one that rains the most; the driest of the months is February. A nice place to camp here at Davis Lake is Mineral Lake - Chequamegon National Forest, and a good       close by hotel is Super 8 Motel - Phillips. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Lake Three - Chequamegon National Forest is always a nice experience, naturally you could also stop at Betsy Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. Through the summertime at Davis Lake highs are mostly in the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's.
