There's so much to do here at Davies Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lake Chippewa Campground is a great place for that. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Davies Lake. For the period of the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 10's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Davies Lake. Davies Lake gets a typical amount of       rain; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. Whitewater paddling is nice on Chippewa River; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by Tiger Cat Flowage 47. Dead Creek flows through this area, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Davies Lake; Rock Lake National Recreation Trail is a good local trail. Stay the night at Dick-sy Manor; unsurprisingly, this                  is a great vicinity for folks who like lakes, Tiger Cat Flowage is a lake nearby. Having a good time at Davies Lake is painless. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can visit Tiger Cat Dam, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel Hayward Wisconsin is a great spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Chippewa River - West Fork, and wonderful scenery and great skiing is what you get at Christie Mountain. This lake is so wonderful.
