The annual rain here at Dave Lake is about average; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is February. Throughout the long summer days at Dave Lake highs are regularly in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's while       Dave Lake nighttime low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 0's. Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! Dave Lake rocks! If you came for an overnight stay Soo Lake Resort is a tremendous location to camp, and if you need a place to stay Super 8 Motel - Park Falls is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. Flambeau River - South Fork is a wonderful whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Dave Lake, and a quick tour to Beaver Creek is                  absolutely a perfect idea. Swamps like Deadman Slough are fun to visit, of course you could also go to Cat Lake since you're here; it's not far at all.
