Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a fine time here at Dark Lake. Axhandle Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Deer Fly Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Loon Lake Camp Grounds since you're here at Dark Lake, and if you need a spot to stay Paradise Shores Resort Hotel is a perfect choice.       After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Chetek is a splendid place to spend a night or two; you can run the rapids of Chippewa River. Really fine skiing awaits you at Christie Mountain, and the nice folks of Eau Claire like to hang out close by. Dark Lake is a good location of normal precipitation; the month with most of the rain is August while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. If you came for an overnight stay Kamp Sugarrbush                  Bar and Campgrnd is a pleasant place to camp; hiking along the O'Neil Creek Flowage Trail is delightful fun. At Dark Lake during the long summer days highs are in the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and overnight lows at Dark Lake all through the winter generally plunge into the-10's.
