The vista of Pikes Peak from Dam Lake is wonderful, and camping is available at Rock Lake Resort and Campground. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Duncan Creek offers some perfect whitewater, and at Dam Lake you always meet someone from Eau Claire. Dam Lake is a good spot of typical rain;       the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Chippewa River, and why not camp at Northshore Bar and Campground while you're here at Dam Lake. Americinn - Chippewa Falls, Wi is a delightful place to get some rest, and Dam Lake is right by the Hickory Ridge Trail. Any time is a fine time at Dam Lake if you fancy the outdoors. If you need                  a spot to stay Glen Loch Motel is a delightful choice; hiking along the Deer Fly Trail is wonderful fun. Why not take a refreshing hike along the O'Neil Creek Flowage Trail, and a lake close by is Knickerbocker Lake. At Dam Lake all through the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's with night lows in the 50's.
