Get yourself into a kayak and hit St. Croix River. Lakes are great; Folsom Lake is a lake that's right next door to Lake O' the Dalles. The amount of rainfall that falls at Lake O' the Dalles is close to the national average; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. If you yearn for a little side spree, try       Saint Croix Dalles; for you golfers we recommend close by St Croix Valley Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. Schillberg's Campgrounds is a brilliant local campground, and if you came for an overnight stay Wildwood Park Campgrounds is a brilliant place to camp. After a long day outdoors Luck Country Inn is a great place to spend a night or two; the skiing at Wild Mountain is delightful. Saint Croix National Scenic River is one of the destinations near Lake O'                  the Dalles that are wonderful to go to, and Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites St. Croix Valley, Wi is a glorious place to get some rest. Just can't get enough of Lake O' the Dalles. This is a fine vicinity for folks who like lakes. Indian Head Flowage 5930 is a lake in close proximity, and the Sunrise Ferry Hiking Trail offers hiking at its best. High temperatures at Lake O' the Dalles through the summer are in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 60's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Lake O' the Dalles.
