This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at D'Amour Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Wildman Whitewater Ranch is a great spot for that, and there's always Windsor Dam to take a look at close to D'Amour Lake. That right there is a load already, but it carries on; D'Amour Lake has it all. You're perhaps hooked on lakes, Trout Lake is       one of those nearby; you're sure to stumble upon some nice people from Iron Mountain here. D'Amour Lake gets a normal amount of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is mostly September, that's the one that rains the most, and February on the other hand is the driest. A quick journey to Avery Creek right next door to D'Amour Lake is a nice idea; after a long day outdoors Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Iron Mountain, MI is a wonderful spot to spend                  a night or two. Summertime highs at D'Amour Lake regularly tend to be in the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's.
