Cycle Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors amusing things the area close to Cycle Lake has to offer. Camping at Cycle Lake is magnificent fun, Butternut Lake Campground is a magnificent local campground. During the summer months at Cycle Lake temperatures are mostly in the 70's. During the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 10's,

| | and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Cycle Lake temperatures plunge to the-10's. There's whitewater on Flambeau River - North Fork for all you adrenaline junkies, and Super 8 Motel - Phillips is a magnificent place to get some rest.

This lake is so wonderful. Hit the slopes at Whitecap Mountain around here, and the Newman Springs Ski Trail offers hiking at its best.
